elemental guardians Ch. 2.2

"So, adrenalin junkies, eh?"
Kai, and the duo that had just discovered her, were walking along the hill, continuing along with the interrupted journey.
"Yup!" replied Rolf. "Always on the lookout for an adrenaline rush! You can't beat it."
"Well, where I come from, I'm close to a lot of extreme sports pros. I feel we're going to become fast friends!"
"Where you're from?" exclaimed Ryan. "Oh, you never ever told us about where you came from! You just appeared in a flash… things like that can't happen without a cause…"
"I don't know the cause… I just was falling asleep in my dimension, and I slept, and then FLASH! I woke up in this new dimension…"
"Wait… you're from another dimension?"
"Heh… yeah… I guess I should tell you more about myself… me… I'm Kai. In my dimension, everyone knows me. For I am…

"Queen of the skies!"
"Observer of dimensions!"
"I am Kai… The elemental guardian of air!"

"Er…" said a rather bemused Rolf, "surely you're a bit small for such a huge title?"
"You know what they say… looks can be deceiving. Stand back…"
Kai rushed forward up to a flat part of the hill, and closed her eyes…

"Let all of the air within me expand… FORM ADVANCE!"

Suddenly, winds starting whirling stronger, blowing towards Kai, who seemed to absorb them into her fur... she enlarged… her fur patterns shifted… her tail curled up and merged with her fur to leave a spiral pattern… her eyes sharpened to a new style… she grew fangs and claws…

This was Kai's second form.

"Oh, but this is not the end of it. All of the elemental guardians from my dimension have a third form… a form of immense power… a great spectacle…"
"Well what are you waiting for, Kai? Go for it!" exclaimed Ryan, with Rolf pretty much equally eager.

"OK…Here I go…

"I am the whirlwind of the universe… queen of storms, commander of clouds… all that is around me, is all that is in me… I am Kai, elemental guardian of Air! FINAL FORM ADVANCE!"

Kai lifted her head skywards and roared to the clouds above her, causing them to swirl into a spiral, centred on Kai. "Yes… I feel the power of the air entering me…", she said in a deepening voice, as she grew ever more. She roared again, even louder, revealing growing, sharpening fangs. A new pattern of fur was revealed, with a predominant jagged triangle of thick lilac fur on Kai's front. Kai's tail burst out of its spiral, massive, bushy, and magnificent. Then, blades of wind thrust themselves towards Kai and froze in mid-air, the shape of feathers. Those blades became corporeal, purple and grey, and affixed themselves onto Kai's body to form resplendent wings.

"So, what do you think?"

Rolf and Ryan were speechless.
